Woodbine Racetrack – Display Room of Horse Racing History
[portfolio_slideshow width=520 id=907]
Challenge: The client needed to create a room that would beg people to delve into the history of horse racing in Canada. Although they already had a great deal of the material on view, it wasn’t well designed and didn’t entice the visitor to read.
Solution: Having had a great deal of experience with displays for the Ontario Government as well as other clients and a history of working with the Director at the Horse Racing Hall of Fame and the Blue Jays, we jumped in and designed a series of displays for each category of racing. The boards were designed to be read with each item appearing as a dimensional page achieved by adding a shadowed blend between stories.
Delivered: A completely redesigned room including new panels, new colours, new panels, new box displays and, of course, an exciting new interest in Horse Racing History.
Results: Visitors actually stop and read complete sections whereas in the past they only glanced at the photos as they walked by.
